Frequently Asked Questions

How accurate is the GPS tracking?

Trophy Track uses your device's high-accuracy GPS mode. In open terrain, accuracy is typically within 3-5 meters. In heavy cover or deep valleys, accuracy may vary. The app filters out inaccurate readings to give you the cleanest trail possible.

Does the app work offline?

Yes. GPS tracking works without cell service. Your tracks are stored locally and sync to the cloud when you're back in range. You can start a track in the middle of nowhere and it will save.

How do I share a track?

Open any saved track and tap the share button. You'll get a link that lets your hunting buddy see your exact trail and markers in real-time. They don't need an account to view it.

Will the app drain my battery?

Trophy Track is optimized for extended use in the field. GPS tracking does use battery, but we've tuned it to balance accuracy with efficiency. For long recoveries, we recommend a portable charger.

Can anyone see my tracks?

No. Your tracks are completely private unless you choose to share them. We can't see them, we don't sell them, and we never will. Your hunting spots are yours.

Is there an Android version?

Android is coming soon. Sign up for updates at admin@trophytrack.app and we'll let you know when it's ready.

App Tips

Mark the Hit First: As soon as you shoot, drop a HIT marker before you do anything else. This is your anchor point.

Use Night Mode: If you're tracking after dark, enable Night Mode to preserve your natural night vision. The red-tinted interface won't blow out your eyes.

Don't Rush: The app is designed for slow, methodical tracking. In thick cover, a deer that goes 75 yards can take an hour to find. Take your time, mark every sign.
